Recipe; HOMEMADE PECAN SANDIES
You need to prepare this recipe :
First you need two sticks butter, unsalted (half lb., softened)
And one cup of vegetable oil
One cup of sugar, granulated
One cup of confectioner's sugar (sifted)
Then two eggs (large)
One tsp of vanilla extract
Then 4 cups flour, all purpose (500 gr.)
One tso of baking soda
One tsp of cream of tartar
One tsp of salt
Two cups of pecans (chopped)
Finally you need half cup of sugar, granulated (decoration)
How to make this recipe :
First step to prepare this recipe is to preheat oven to 325 F.
Second step :Now use a large bowl, and cream together the butter, vegetable oil, one cup of white sugar & confectioners' sugar till smooth.
Step 3 : Next beat in the eggs one at a time, & stir in the vanilla.
Then mix the flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, & salt; stir into the creamed mixture. combine in the pecans.
Step 4 : Now roll dough into one inch balls & roll each ball in remaining white sugar. pute the cookies two inches apart onto un~greased cookie sheets. And bake between 10and 12 mins in the preheated oven, or till the edges are golden. Finally move out from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks.Enjoyeee yumyyy
