Recipe : Slow Cooker Marinara

You need to prepare this recipe :

First two  (28 oz.) cans of crushed tomatoes
And one (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  One medium yellow onion
   half  Tbsp minced garlic
    Two whole bay leaves
   One Tbsp dried basil
    Half Tbsp dried oregano
    One Tbsp brown sugar $0.02
   One Tbsp balsamic vinegar $0.09
Finally you need  to taste salt &  pepper

How to make this recipe :

First step to prepare this recipe is to cut the onion into a small dice then  mince the garlic (or use pre-minced garlic from a jar). And pute both in the slow cooker. Also add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, bay leaves, basil, oregano, & freshly cracked pepper. Then make sure to stir well to mix. If your slow cooker tends to lose moisture &  dry things out, add between half - one cup of water as well.
Second step : Now you need to secure the lid on your slow cooker & cook on low about 8 h.
Step 3 : Now remove the lid on the slow cooker, stir the sauce, & remove the bay leaves. Season with salt to taste (I added about one teaspoon). Enjoy over your favorite pasta!
