Reecipe : Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Biscuits
you need to prepare this recipe
First tou need 2 1/4 cups Bisquick
Then 2/3 cup of buttermilk
And one tsp of sugar
One tablespoon butter, melted
Finally you need melted butter, for brushing
How to make this recipe ::
First step to prepare this recipe is to preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Second step : Now combine the Bisquick, buttermilk & sugar together in a bowl.
Then add the melted butter into the batter.
Stir till a soft dough forms.
Step 3 : Now turn out onto a well floured work surface.
Knead 20 times (this is a very forgiving dough), & don't be afraid to get additional flour into the dough.
Roll 1/2 thick, or thicker if you prefer towering biscuits.
Step4 : Now cut out into 2" rounds (or your preferred size).
Place close together on an ungreased baking sheet.
Brush tops with melted butter.
Bake between 8 to 10 mins; I usually find 8 minutes is enough.
When you remove the biscuits from the oven, brush the tops with melted butter again.
